Robert was able to board an ambulance on his own and was taken to the hospital. He has since been discharged, according to MLB.com.

“I was standing right behind him,” Phillies manager Rob Thomson said in a statement to the outlet. “It was scary because he went down, he started to get back up again, and he went back down.”

“It was very scary, but he’s fine,” he added.

Robert made more than 15 appearances with the Phillies in 2025 and had a 4.15 ERA, per MLB.com.

In a February interview with NBC Sports, Robert said he decided to return to the Phillies after becoming a free agent in November 2025 because he owed “everything” to them.
