I’m generally ambivalent about the City Connect uniforms, but the Dodgers’ version has to be one of the worst ones out there right now. Why would Freddie Freeman have a uniform that has an “05” on it instead of just “5”?

• Daniel Robert will not pitch in 2026 after a procedure to help with his irregular heartbeat. He’s doing much better.
• Some minor housekeeping on the roster as Max Lazar needed to end his rehab, necessitating Zach Pop to be designated for assignment.
• The right handed issues are continuing for the Phillies, issues that are going to have to be addressed soon ($).

MLB news:

• Munetaka Murakami is going to miss some time with a hamstring injury. Too bad as he’s been the real deal.
• Here is an injury I’ve never heard of before: Eury Perez will miss at least eight weeks with a gracilis strain.
• The Rockies’ top prospect, Ethan Holliday, will miss the rest of the season after needing foot surgery ($).
