With the imminent arrival of Julien Duranville, FC Basel could be set to part ways with Philip Otele. The 26-year-old Nigerian forward is reportedly heading for the exit, with England as his likely destination.
According to the BBC, Wolverhampton are currently the front-runners to sign Otele. The Wolves are seeking a loan deal with an option to buy, while FC Basel are said to be asking for around €8 million for their striker.
Struggling badly in the Premier League, Wolverhampton sit at the bottom of the table and are already planning for next season. Lazio and Celtic Glasgow are also reportedly interested in the forward and are closely monitoring the situation.
