Anything short of the playoffs and this season has been a massive failure in my eyes.

Facing 2 cupcake divisions in the afc/nfc south

Although formidable - the niners, Seahawks, and rams are all vulnerable

An offensive unit that now has familiarity in the scheme and is out of excuses for flopping.

Agreed. It's year 3 with the new regime. Time to deliver a post season appearance, period. I'm hopeful for at least 10 wins based on the schedule.

I have seen a couple articles with former nfc west players picking the Cards as well Derwin James picking them to be a surprise team to make playoffs on GM Football. Two things were mentioned often. The team plays hard for JG and have a better roster and ultimately, it'll be the quarterback play that determines how far they can take their violent style of play under JG. Teams were starting to take notice of deficient rosters under Gannon and their high effort, violent type play. They did not like playing them. The first time I heard it was from Lynch and 49ers a couple years ago.

Yes unless Kyler is hurt and misses multiple games.
