Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has set the benchmark at his position, according to Pro Football Focus.

PFF has began releasing their annual NFL offseason player rankings, position-by-position. As far as Allen is concerned, he sits at the summit as the No. 1 ranked quarterback in the league heading into the 2026 season.

Bills quarterback edged out the likes of Joe Burrow (Bengals) and Lamar Jackson (Ravens), respectively, for the top position.

At the end of the 2025 season, Allen was graded as the outlets third-best QB in the NFL. PFF evidently sees an improved year en route for Allen next season.

PFF's breakdown on Allen can be found below:

Following a sluggish first two years of his career, Allen has been on a heater ever since. He has earned a 90.0-plus PFF grade in six straight seasons, becoming the first quarterback to accomplish that feat since PFF began charting in 2006. The 2024 MVP has recorded 141 big-time throws over the past four years, 23 more than the next-closest quarterback. His 79 career rushing touchdowns are already the most by a quarterback in NFL history, surpassing Cam Newton‘s previous record.

The only thing Allen is missing now is a Lombardi Trophy.
