As of late, the Penn State Nittany Lions men's hockey team has not looked up to snuff. Ahead of the postseason, they have had some uninspiring results, including a tension-filled shootout against Notre Dame and a follow-up loss the next day. When he went down with an injury, Cerrato was one of Penn State's leading scorers on the season. With 24 points, six goals, with two on the power play, he is sixth in the rankings for Penn State this season.
