Penn State football still has a load of prospects on the board for Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Thursday's opening night was highlighted by Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter (New York Giants) going third overall and tight end Tyler Warren (Indianapolis Colts) coming a bit later at No. 14.

The Nittany Lions' third pick came in Friday's third round: safety KJ Winston went to the Tennessee Titans with the 82nd overall pick.

The draft resumes at noon Saturday.

Here are the seven Penn State players still available on Day Three.

Penn State football's best available players, Rounds 5-7

The next few names from Penn State will likely be on the defensive side of the ball: From safety Jaylen Reed, who played himself into the middle rounds after a strong 2024 season to linebacker Kobe King, a reliable enforcer around scrimmage, to a bevy of linemen.

Jaylen Reed, safety, senior

Reed held his own in the back of the secondary after Winston went down, and he could be a sneaky pick for a team looking for a productive safety. He led Penn State with 98 tackles to go with 2.5 sacks and 3 interceptions.

Kobe King, linebacker, redshirt junior

Don't be surprised if Kobe King is still on the board late into the third day, because linebacker hasn't been a hot commodity — only two were chosen in each of the first two rounds. The Athletic's Dane Brugler has King listed as the No. 8 LB in the class. Let's see if the linebacker position becomes more prevalent in the following rounds.

Jalen Kimber, cornerback, redshirt senior

The team that takes Kimber believes in his ability to improve his ball skills and get stronger. But he has the speed to compete against NFL wide receivers and is a willing tackler, which is a plus at cornerback.

Sal Wormley, offensive line, redshirt senior+

Sal Wormley's explosion and physicality in the run game is what makes him an attractive prospect, but his lack of lateral quickness and inconsistent technique raise concerns for his success in pass protection.

His two best traits are positional size and experience. The three-year Power 4 starter owns enviable measurables (6-foot-3, 320 pounds), which opens the door for early playing time.

Coziah Izzard, defensive tackle, senior

Coziah Izzard is another powerful lineman with impressive athleticism who showed the ability as a playmaker in the backfield in limited playing time. The upside certainly is there with more consistency with technique and play-to-play effort.

Dvon J-Thomas, defensive tackle, redshirt senior+

Dvon J-Thomas brings solid positional depth to a team that needs defensive line help. He's a team leader and reliable run-stuffer who's used to sharing the field with other talented linemen at Penn State. After a solid showing at Pro Day, he'll at least be signed as a UDFA or to a training camp deal.

Amin Vanover, defensive end, senior

Though he lacks starter experience, Amin Vanover owns impressive length and promise as a pass-rusher on the next level. He wasn't able to break through a talented edge rushing room until filling in for an injured Dani Dennis-Sutton in the middle of last season. Had he been granted a waiver, he would've returned to Happy Valley to prove his value in 2025.
