I have to disagree on the Oline room

We are still in need of a quality guard

And one of the young guys stepping up to take the starter position is there for the taking

There's no guards on the list. The 3 OL UDFA's are all tackles.

Buckeye starting center Seth McLaughlin was rated as No. 2 Center and projected to go in the 4th round by ESPN. ESPN had him as the best available player after the draft. We have his college position coach. His coach must really not like him.
He tore his Achilles. He was very good for OSU.

Ah so you can use the international player designation. Thought they had to come through the pathway program.

So, what do we know about Senn?

VALENTIN SENN SIGNS WITH ARIZONA CARDINALS

Age 25, UConn

Height, Weight6'7", 310 lbs

This past fall, he helped lead the Huskies to a 9-4 mark and the team's second bowl appearances in the last three years.

Senn and the UConn offensive line led a rushing attack that piled up 2,590 yards, the second highest total in school history and ranked 23rd in the nation in yards per game at 192.7 yards per game. In the passing game, the Huskies protected the quarterback to the tune of allowing just 1.07 sacks per game, ranked 13th among the nation's leaders.

I think all we know is that they decided Seiko was never going to make it and it was time to swap him out.

Can't find any Senn tape. I read he's athletic and has NFL size but is technically rough, and it's not like he just got here from Austria. He committed to Colorado 7 years ago.

I don't get the Simmons hype. He has zero chance of making the 53 unless someone is injured (and even then it's slim), and his Vols highlights are meh. Ten a penny player. Fat dude without much talent.

Talk about ignorant take. Of course he has a chance, but I guess it looks different if you don’t take Rallis’ scheme into account. Bilal Nichols obviously are the frontrunner to be Tomlinson’s backup, but it is not like he has ever been a stud NT, and behind him is no one except P.J. Mustipher. Further, Simmons is a clear practice squad candidate, and in that case, he obviously has a shot of getting promoted to the regular squad.

Personally, I also have hopes for OT Josh Fryar. He played a ton of games for Justin Frye at Ohio State, so Frye knows exactly what he can expect, and it is not like there are multiple offensive tackles in front of Fryar on the depth chart.

Did you just call my take ignorant then point out there are several players in front of him and he's a PS addition at best?

He won't make the 53. He might make the PS, but Mustipher may well beat him out.

I don't see why fans are remotely bothered by a 24 year old NT with 6 college seasons, 0.5 career sacks, 8 career TFLs, 59 total career tackles and very underwhelming film.

If you wanted to sign a 320lb+ NT from the Vols they should have picked up Omari Thomas, but he went to the Saints.

I'd put higher odds on him not making it through camp than making the 53.

What are your odds?

I have some loose change waiting to reach bill status:)

Yes, ignorant is too strong of a word. I am sorry. However, when you say that he has no chance, I assume that includes being on the practice squad. Because if you are there, then you obviously have a chance, and I will add that Ossenfort and Gannon are better at using resources from that squad than Keim was. Being on the practice squad is having a chance.

I specifically said the 53.

Yes, and right after that you wrote that the chances were slim, so what do you actually mean? I don’t know, so I guessed you probably meant that he did not have a chance.

Anyway, as I have mentioned several times by now, being on the practice squad is a chance of getting on the 53.
