New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte was flat-out asked if he is on the trade block following Thursday's training camp practice.

And he gave a straightforward response.

"I don't know. That's a Vrabes question," said Boutte.

There was a report that Boutte could be had for a fifth-round or sixth-round draft pick around the time of the 2026 NFL Draft. However, there are no certainties about where things stand on that front now. The Patriots reportedly want to do right by the 24-year-old wideout, who is playing in the final year of his contract.

Going to another team where he'd potentially be featured more might be the better situation for Boutte to boost his stat production and increase his overall value on the free agent market in 2027. But another argument is the fact that it is late in the game. Teams are already in training camp, and there's no certainty that Boutte would do any better in a new offense than he would as a potential second or third option in New England.

"I think my attitude, I mean, we all hear a lot of the stuff that's going on," said Boutte. "My main focus is just I'm here until I ain't. I'm here today, if I'm somewhere else next week, or the week after, that's kind of what it is. That's part of the business. Taking every day, day-by-day, not thinking about what's next."
