They're fighting? Nope. Made you look. But let Pat Surtain and Jaylen Waddle tell it, they may.
It all started when Waddle, interviewed by Brand Risk Promotions, asked if he envisioned fighting someone later in his career via Brand Risk. Waddle immediately called out Surtain in an NSFW message.
"Pat Surtain, I would beat the [expletive] out of him. I'd beat the dog [expletive] out of him," Waddle said. "There are a lot more people, but that's just top of my mind. I'd beat the dog [expletive] out of bro."
Note that the video below contains strong language.
Surtain saw Waddle’s comments and promptly responded on Twitter/X:
"Got a little too much dip on your chip ," PS2 tweeted.
It’s safe to say that these two are joking. Both were teammates at Alabama and won a national title in 2020 before departing for the NFL. However, could Waddle really beat Surtain in a fight? Well…
Waddle is listed at 5-10, 185 pounds, while Surtain is listed at 6-2, 202 pounds. While Waddle may be just playfully bantering his former college teammate, Surtain may not be wrong to think that the Dolphins' wide receiver got too much dip on their chip.
Nevertheless, it is the NFL offseason. So we're going to let these guys cook.
