The facelift continues for the home of the Carolina Panthers.
As announced on Thursday by Tepper Sports & Entertainment, the Panthers and Bank of America have extended their naming rights deal for the team's uptown Charlotte stadium. The partnership, one of the longest-running in the NFL, dates back to 2004.
“For over three decades, Bank of America Stadium has helped create lasting memories for our fans and we’re excited for them to see what’s ahead,” Panthers owner David Tepper stated in an official release. “Our goal is to create experiences that enhance the passion and energy of the region while transforming this corridor into a weekend destination for world-class sports, entertainment and community events.”
Along with the fresh pact, the Panthers also released new renderings of their renovations to Bank of America Stadium this morning:
The renovations, per Joe Person of The Athletic, include:
Upgrades also feature the team's new practice facility, which is currently being constructed, as well as a 4,400-seat, indoor music venue outside of the stadium.
Renovations are expected to all be completed by 2030.

- A “social patio” in the 500 level that spans the length of one end zone in the upper bowl
- Other fan gathering areas inside and outside the stadium
- Larger and more dynamic scoreboards
- Updates to the locker room and Panthers’ offices
- A redesigned press box
