Palmer's surgery

In an interview with Alex Marvez and Bill Polian on Sirius XM NFL Radio, Arians said Palmer had surgery on his knee on Tuesday and the hope is he will be ready to go in time for training camp next year.

“Carson’s surgery went great today,” Arians said.

“It was a very, very small cartilage repair and his ACL. Everything else was intact and fine. He tells me he’ll be out (in time) for OTAs, I doubt it. But I’m hoping July 1.”
