Two more names from Alabama baseball's latest College World Series squad have been called in the 2026 MLB Draft.
Pitchers Tyler Fay and Zane Adams were drafted in the sixth round on the second day of the draft in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Sunday, July 12.

With the 169th overall pick, the Pittsburgh Pirates brought on Fay, a right-handed arm that threw a historic no-hitter against Florida in March. The approximate pick value is $403.5K, per MLB.com.
Adams, the most-experienced veteran of the Crimson Tide's pitching rotation, was selected two slots later at No. 171 overall by the Baltimore Orioles. MLB.com listed the pick value for the lefty at approximately $396.30k.
Adams and Fay registered ERAs of 4.58 and 4.54, respectively, in their third and final seasons in Tuscaloosa. Fay, who rose from walk-on to reliever to ace, emerged with a career record of 13-9 as Adams finished 19-14.
As two mature arms leave the Crimson Tide, freshman standout Myles Upchurch remains and is positioned to anchor a pitching staff in rebuild.
