Me....Lyon

They need to figure out what's going on with Lyon... He's tipping, injured, lost his edge, or something.... Time for a 15 day DL to work with a pitching coach in AAA to figure it out.... But don't let him work on it in the majors during the heat of a pennant race

Padres have a 4-0 lead in the first. With Peavy pitching, it is not looking good. Hopefully the bats are hot tonight.

Not Harens best stuff, but our hitting and patience paid off when we needed it

Haren and the first inning lately :bang:
I figured he'd settle down afterward and he did. I thought my magic number reference sign jinxed them for a moment, but it didn't. I think the D-backs have themselves a new closer. This was not the pitcher's duel many expected to see. Broom those Padres tomorrow, boys!

Alright! Peavy against Haren! I love a good pitchers duel

OOPS! :D

I would have predicted exactly the same thing. That's one of the great things about baseball.... about the time you think you've got it all figured out, you get a game like last night.

Haren's got me a little worried. He hasn't been sharp for about 5 games now, and if we do indeed get into the post season, we are going to need everyone at the top of their form.

'twould be nice to see Webby get a complete came shutout tonight, but a win is all I really ask for... ;)

C'mon, Rockies!!!

It tends to happen when you add an on-base machine to a lineup.

Adam Dunn ain't perfect but he is EXACLTY what this team needed for their lineup. High OPS and HR threat everytime up allows the other guys to get on base and spray the ball to all fields. NOT try to be something they are not. Apparently the bats all around him are helping him too because his avg so far his hovering near .300.

In one of my recent posts I stated that the protection helps guys like CQ and Pedroia be the players they are. Now you see Jackson, CY, and Drew getting better balls to hit and I expect them to have a good stretch run.

Not to cry over spilled milk but it would be nice if Quentin was hitting behind Dunn.:(

Dodgers win, 3-1.

Dodgers start 10 game road trip - 4 at Phi, 3 @ WAS, and three with the Dbacks
