GREEN BAY - It's a bad week to be undermanned at receiver, but the Green Bay Packers will be missing more than tight end Tucker Kraft when they host the Philadelphia Eagles for "Monday Night Football" at Lambeau Field.
Rookie wideout Matthew Golden is inactive after missing the final two practices last week with a shoulder injury. Golden was limited in practice Nov. 6 but did not participate the next two days despite reportedly pushing to play.
The Packers are also playing their first game without Kraft, their star tight end whose season ended with a torn ACL last week against the Carolina Panthers.
The Packers will have receiver Dontayvion Wicks available for the first time in almost a month. Wicks has not played since Oct. 19 at Arizona because of a calf injury he said this week is a continuation of what he's been playing through since training camp. Rookie wideout Savion Williams also will play after being listed questionable with a foot injury. Williams followed the opposite route as Golden last week, not practicing Nov. 6 but being limited the next two days.
The Packers' offensive line is fully healthy with right tackle Zach Tom active. Tom was listed as questionable with a back injury, which limited him in practice throughout the week. The Packers also will have left guard Aaron Banks available. Banks was limited in practice until Nov. 8, when he was a full participant, and was expected to play after having no game status designation on the injury report.
On defense, edge rusher Micah Parsons is active despite being limited all week with a pectoral injury and, later, an illness. Parsons did not have a game status designation, making his availability expected.
The Packers will be without fellow defensive end Lukas Van Ness for a fourth straight game because of a foot injury. Joining Van Ness and Golden on the inactive list are cornerback Nate Hobbs, kicker Lucas Havrisik and offensive lineman Jacob Monk.
Hobbs, ruled out, is missing the first of what is expected to be multiple games because of a Grade 1 sprain of his MCL.
For the Eagles, former Packers Jaire Alexander and A.J. Dillon won’t make their return to Lambeau Field for this matchup.
Alexander, who had knee surgery at the end of his last season in Green Bay, signed with the Baltimore Ravens in June. He appeared in just two games before being traded to the Eagles on Nov. 1.
Dillon signed with the Eagles in March.
Also, center Cam Jurgens is ruled out of the game, along with QB Sam Howell, CB Mac McWilliams and DT Ty Robinson.
