Green Bay Packers third-round pick Savion Williams received the No. 83 uniform following the 2025 NFL draft.

Williams wore No. 3 and No. 18 at TCU and No. 3 in high school. In Green Bay, No. 3 is retired for Hall of Famer Tony Canadeo. Williams is getting the next best thing for a wide receiver: No. 83.

Cornelius Johnson wore No. 83 on the Packers practice squad last season. He is switching to No. 84.

The last player to wear No. 83 in a game for the Packers was receiver Samori Toure in 2023.

Others to wear No. 83 in Packers history include Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Clarence Williams, John Jefferson, Antonio Chatman, Terry Glenn, Tom Crabtree, Jeff Janis, Jeff Thomason and Mark Clayton.

In related uniform news, Packers first-round pick Matthew Golden switched from No. 81 to No. 22.
