Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been downgraded to out for Week 17, and backup Malik Willis is expected to start on Saturday night against the Baltimore Ravens, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Love is in concussion protocol after suffering the head injury on a helmet-to-helmet hit last Saturday night in Chicago. He practiced in a limited capacity during all three days of practice this week and was listed as questionable to play, but the Packers downgraded his status on Friday and Love will miss this week's visit from the Ravens.

The primetime showdown at Lambeau Field is now expected to be a battle of backup quarterbacks: Willis vs. Tyler Huntley. Lamar Jackson is doubtful to play due to a back contusion suffered last Sunday night.

The Packers clinched a playoff spot via the Detroit Lions loss on Christmas Day. The Ravens need a win to keep their season alive.

Willis started two games for the Packers last season, both wins. He completed 9 of 11 passes, including a 33-yard touchdown pass, and rushed for 44 yards against the Chicago Bears last week.

Across 10 career games with the Packers, Willis has completed 76.5 percent of his passes, averaged 10.1 yards per attempt, thrown five touchdown passes and zero interceptions, produced a 132.2 passer rating and rushed for 201 yards and a touchdown.

Expect the Packers to elevate practice squad quarterback Clayton Tune to the gameday roster for Week 17.
