Packers running back Josh Jacobs is back with the team, following his release from prison amid further investigation into Domestic Violence allegations that led to his arrest last month.
While Jacobs faces an uncertain future, given that he could still be charged in the weeks and months ahead, head coach Matt LaFleur and the Packers are adopting a “business and usual” posture, when it comes to the All-Pro running back as the legal process plays out.

During this week’s OTA practices, Packers quarterback Jordan Love addressed Jacobs’ situation, and how he and the rest of his teammates are handling it.
“Everyone knows what the situation is there,” Love told reporters. “We’ve talked but obviously the details — everyone’s keeping that under wraps right now, out of respect for the situation and obviously all the legal stuff that’s going to be playing out. But it’s great to have Josh here with us, being able to work with us and getting back to work. But yeah, kind of everybody’s just waiting and letting it play out on its own.”
Ultimately, while the cloud of the investigation continues to hover over Green Bay, Love and the rest of the roster remain focused on the field while giving Jacobs the space to navigate his legal battle.
For now, the Packers will continue to control what they can on the practice turf, keeping their eyes on the upcoming season as they wait for the justice system to take its course.
