Let's face it, 60,000 people at SDS this sunday won't be 50% cheeseheads, it'll be more like 80%. (nacho cheese dripping all over the place-bring chips.)

We've got 17,000 Cardinal season ticket holders, and 7,000 of those gave thier tickets to friends who are cheeseheads, rather than put up with the grief of going to this game. If we perform like last week, it's going to be terrible for people like me at the game. Perhaps even dangerous.

I'm not afraid.

If some things go right...you never know. They're already talking about pickle juice in Green Bay, and I still remember last year's preseason game, when all they talked about was how hot it was here. Add in the fact that they COULD be taking us lightly, and Favre's penchant for the interception, and you never know what could happen.

If we do beat Green Bay this Sunday? THAT would be awesome, and a WHOLE LOTTA FUN for 10,000 of us.

I wonder if the players realize what it's like for us in the stands?

My company has an office in Reston, Va. They shut down today to take care of homes and families, before the storm hits. How's everything going back there?

don't get me wrong..cards fans will be outnumbered..but..there are probably quite a few cards fans who got the flex ticket pack - and probably like 0 of them picked the seahawks game and probably 90% picked the packers game (only reason they would not would be the heat). I would assume the flex pack buyers are cards fans who do not want to buy all of the games and the preseason game - but still retain some sort of priority in the new stadium. I know of a few former season ticket holders who converted to flex packs..so I would guess there will be about 25,000 cards fans and 30,000 packer fans..

Also...I heard some bears fans on the radio today who hate the packers so much that they are going with the sole purpose of cheering for the other team..you might find a few transplants who are bears, vikings of lions fan show up just to cheer againts the packers..that is where I get my 25,000 cards fans from.

Also - I would like to point out that in the loge where I sit - it is usually about 80% cardinals fans - even when we play teams like the raiders, packers and cowboys...but since loge is covered the fans are not as visible as the rest of the fans in stadium (same goes for fans in the luxury suites - mostly cards fans - but you cannot really see them)..

so - from the suites, loge, bears and vikings fans -that is where I get my number of 25,000 cards fans... still a sad state of affairs.

I hope you're right Pinnacle-

If you bought a flex pack, you HAD TO take the Packer game. From what I heard, the Lambs and 9ers games were the other popular choices in flex packs. Just like last year, Cali transplants.

Hey King of Cards - all is calm for now, except for obligatory run on batteries, water and videos. This town loves a crisis - Federal and local governments are closed tomorrow, schools will be too. Forecast is for 60 mph winds and 6-8 inches of rain but it is absolutley beautiful outside now, about 68 degrees.

There was much smack being thrown about by Cardinal Fan two years ago when they came here for a game in the heat. I believe it finished 31-3 with the Packers on top.

I wouldn't worry about the Favre throwing interceptions. In order for him to do so, Green Bay's wide receivers would need to be covered by a reliable secondary. I think the Packers will play a relatively turn-over free game.

That was from a different thread earlier this week. How much of your money will you be betting on the Cardinals now that you received a sign from God? Will you bet the house?

I have a feeling that Dave is going throw the book at them. HE knows this is a pivotal game. I see the defense giving them every look possible, and also giving up some big plays because of it. I think we'll get a sack and an INT, but I really don't know if we'll win. I know it will be close.
