Know what’s not good defense? One where there’s four guys in a vertical line in one side. And a mirror of four guys in virtually vertical line on the other side. Sheesh.

that was the old 2 DL / 4 LB / 5 DB defense -- and one of those DLs was Zach Allen- who is 285 ish

it was 2nd and 13 -- so expecting pass wasnt totally unreasonable. I suspect VJ would have been ok with a 5 yard run to set up 3rd and long. I dont think he was ok with both D lineman and ILBs being outside the guards at the handoff
