It was by the way... But 2018 was a long time ago - maybe he's changed his stance? Maybe his morale compass ends when other people are put in danger?

Speeding is not theft but yeah I don't speed anymore. Actually that thread gave me a lot of perspective on that and I stopped after that.

The level of piracy is directly equal to the difficulty required to acquire content.

Why don’t you hear much about music and video game piracy like the early 2000’s? Because it’s dead simple to buy tracks, albums, or games, and relatively cheap to do so. If you like iTunes and Spotify, thank Napster.

If the NFL wanted to stop piracy, they’d create an a la carte digital platform with someone like Amazon or YouTube where you can drop twenty bucks to watch a game. I don’t know why they haven’t; guessing most owners are boomers and don’t recognize the opportunity.
Just heard yesterday that youtube created a monthly option for sunday ticket...not just paying monthly but the ability to purchase a single calendar month of the season.
Thats a move in the right direction.

You know what else could be considered theft? The NFL acting like racketeers and keeping prices so high that they have to explain themselves to Congress.
NFL sunday ticket doubled for a bar since 2020. And for that doubling of price you get even less games. Might be a game on peacock, amazon or some other crap streaming service that you got to pay extra for on top of your ST subscription.

I dropped ST. I'm not gonna illegal stream at the bar but I've got no sympathy for a public taxpayer subsidized for profit corporate conglomerate.

Yeah, I think once your yearly revenue goes beyond a Billion dollars you need to have your tax status re evaluated on a regular basis
