Just because we are on it, Flacco is one of the top 10 QBs in the league. And in my mind, the top QBs are ones who do the most with the least.

In no particular order

P Manning
T Brady
A Luck
A Rodgers
D Brees
P Rivers
T Romo
B Roethlisberger
J Flacco
R Wilson

Here's the thing with Top QB lists, particularly when they're in "no particular order": it's easy to get bogged down in minutiae arguing about 12th vs. 14th or some nonsense. That being said, after this I'm absolutely creating a QB Power Rankings Thread, because that sounds like some good times.

On Romo: He's got Dez Bryant and Jason Witten, two of the top five players at their respective positions in the league. Plus one of the five best offensive lines in the NFL in front of him. Not sure who's play he's elevating, and to what level.

How many division titles does Flacco have? Also, didn't Cam start from the baseline of a team that earned the #1 overall pick in the draft, and is supported by one of the worst front offices in the league?

How's the organization supporting Flacco?

Cam took over a team that was two years removed from a 12-4 season. Their front office is terrible, but he does play for the reigning Coach of the Year...;)

Flacco...62-34. Their offense has been in the top 12 in points scored for 4 of his 6 seasons. 5 of 6 seasons with Flacco at QB the Ravens have been in the playoffs, with one Super Bowl win.

That league best offensive line is as of this year, not over the past few seasons. He has two passing weapons in a passing league. Their defense is awful and has been awful. He is keeping that team from being worse than the Raiders.

Are we judging QB's based on winning percentages?

Not.

And Russell W is keeping the Seahawks afloat throwing for 2000 yards. :)

russel wilson doesnt need to put a lot of yards, he manage the game..he can run he can throw downfield ,he can do anything, his rating is amazing.
when u find a qb like him,u will have a succesfull team for years .
unfortunatly he play for seahawks

More specifically reagrding the Cowboys offensive line...

Tyron Smith drafted first round in 2011, 3 years as a starter.
Ronald Leary, 1 year as a starter.
Travis Frederick drafted first round in 2013, 1 year as a starter.
Zack Martin drafted first round 2014, 0 years as a starter.
Doug Free, 5 years as a starter.

So, only two players with over 1 year of starting experience and 3 first round picks used, 2 in the past 2 years.

When we are looking at win % over several seasons, yes, it is a factor. Over 20 games, not so much.

Wilson has probably the weakest case of any on my list, but he is a special player. Their defense keeps the team from ever being really bad, but their offensive personnel is not good.

Seahawks record

08: 4-12
09: 5-11
10: 7-9
11: 7-9
12: 11-5
13: 13-3

Only major offensive change from 2011 to 2012 was Russell Wilson. Wilson has gone 24-8 in his first two seasons in the toughest division in football. Hsi stats aren't sexy, but what he does for that team is very significant.

In two seasons, he has played every game, completed 63.6% of passes, thrown for 6,475 yards, thrown for 52 tds vs 19 ints, won 4 playoff games, and one Super Bowl.

when manning started to play in nfl his first season the rating was 77.
wilson in his first 2 season 100 and 101.
always over 3000 yards passing.
he run 2 season 500 yards.
i think are pretty sexy stats

I respect your opinion on my team, and you never hold the punches Krang.

Now you'll hear mine on yours...and i'm forced to watch a lot of your team. Doubt you see much more than two games per year of the Rams, and highlights don't count, but i digress.

I think the Cards will have the best offense in the division this season, and it won't even be close. Palmer will get the job done with better protection and your WR's are top notch. Ellington is a stud but there's nothing behind him. There's also nothing behind Palmer. Your OLine should be suitable in non-division games. You will not be able to block our guys. Period...

...I see an outstanding offense that will be in some shootouts and a soft defense at the LOS.

8-8
4th place

Good luck Cards fans.
Bump. :)
