**** of here with this nonsense, Flanagan.
Why? Flanagan has proven to be, without a doubt, the best/most consistent adapter of King’s book and best voice in TV horror for almost a decade.

That's great. Why not go adapt one we haven't had yet? More Carrie just doesn't inspire.
I mean… the last good Carrie adaptation was 50 years ago. We live in completely different times and the story can and probably should be adapted in completely different ways because of that.

And more… what King HASNT been adapted at this point for him to go do?

As I said, I'm not about a Carrie remake. It's a remake, movie or TV show or whatever. Not interested.

I will tune in for anything and everything Flanagan does.
Same. Dude is the master of TV horror at this point and his movies are solid also. To this day,

I consider him a genius for figuring out how to adapt Gerald's Game into a movie. Life Of Chuck had transcendent moments, if the movie was a little uneven. And Dr. Sleep was 1000x better than it had any business being as a Shining sequel and he created an All-Time baddie in that movie with Rose The Hat.

He’s working on that right now but apparently is having a tough time getting the budget needed to do it.
Cool, I didn't know that was in the works. Thanks for the heads up. It never being done has always surprised with how good and popular it is.

I don't care. It's odd that I'm not allowed to want THIS adaptation for some reason. Watch it if you'd like. I'm not stopping you.
huh? you're allowed to want whatever you want. You were the one who said adapt something else, so I'm asking what else you'd want him to adapt.

your indignant response to this is bizarre.

I don't care what he adapts of King's, so long as it isn't a retread. It's not like I have a preference for one or the other. You're pressing me for that, which is bizarre.
