Was it on him or in his luggage. I know that does not curb the violation but just curious. I can totally see someone who carries a piece on them all of sudden have to take an emergency flight for personal reasons and totally forget he has that gun on him because his mind is preoccupied, especially during these times. This is a young guy with a lot of money, so booking a flight is not something he will probably put a lot of thought into or planning because he does it often. I am not saying it wasn't moronic what he did, but giving a reason why that can happen. This makes him an idiot but not a bad guy lol
