Even though the media is reporting that the Eagles are telling prospective coaches that they want to keep Wentz, I still think they will trade him to the Colts. Reich would love to have him, he fits their offense like a glove, and Wentz would love to be reunited with Reich again. The Eagles have a lot of holes & would love to add another 1st round pick. This is a perfect match for both teams.

That does seem like a natural fit.

Very fun qb watching him connect with gates was fun!!!

Glad he had some success with colts in his final season

Definitely should be in hall of fame along with fitz if he retires also guess will find out soon on that issue

Trash talking and side line tantrums are entirely different.

I mean if Murray acted like Rivers did, he would be excoriated on this board.
Always found it hilarious how folks slandered Cam for his sad expressions, but called Rivers’ tantrums “fiery passion”.

Man time flies. As of now, I believe the only 2 first round picks still playing from that 2004 draft are Fitzgerald and Roethlisberger.

So who replaces Rivers.

Jacob Eason is the only roster QB on the Colts
Drafting that low the elite QBs are gone
Trade up in the draft
Deal for Carson Wentz/Matthew Stafford/Matt Ryan/???
Dak Prescott might be a FA
Mac Jones could be available at #21

Who is opening day QB is a huge question
Mac Jones would be a great pick for the Colts. Dude is very accurate. Kentucky Football coaches discovered him at a camp in Florida & offered him on the spot, said he was deadly accurate. He committed on the spot pretty much after they offered him. Then Alabama got interested, he decommitted, then committed again, then the Alabama offer came & he took it. He made the better choice for his future by going to Alabama but it broke my heart lol.

Most overrated QB of all time.
How is that? I don't think he's overrated at all. I think he pretty is rated as he should be. Not among the greatest of all time but still a top level QB. Sure, he didn't win a SB but that's mainly because of Brady.

That's like holding it against Malone and Stockton for not winning a NBA title. They are HOF's but there were just better teams out there. Rivers will be in HOF.
