Been saying this all along...Moore? No thanks. The Raiders will draft Mendoza, get significantly better immediately, then draft nothing but bad #ss O-linemen. Remember, the GOAT is helping these guys with personnel now. Moore is NOT the #2 pick in the draft. Don't wish anything bad on the kid, but dang - he's got a lot of work to do.
Yeah Jets aren’t touching him, which means they’ll get their pick of their favorite non qb talent…We had that going for us but not after tonight.

We will see. I'm always skeptical about the raiders and jets. those are the teams that can't get off the mat and it feels like it is due to long standing systemic problems. I feel bad for anyone that gets drafted by them. Hopefully Mendoza can have success if he goes to LV.

Moore is still a better prospect than Simpson. He should definitely declare for the draft. He'll be the #2 QB off the board. His draft stock will only go down if he returns to college. It will be a better QB class and, regardless of last night, he's going to be a top 5 pick. Look at Klubnik from Clemson. After last year's playoff run, he was in the convo for a 1st round pick. He returned and never even gets mentioned after the terrible year he had.

Moore will be assured of getting far more money this year than next, plus an extra year of NFL money.

I’m probably wrong but I see Murray2 in Moore.
I notice some throws as he was falling back. I agree with him sitting for a while.

As much as I want a qb if we don’t TOTALLY fix this oline and add another stud 3 down RB we are doomed to watch our qb fail.

Just about every team in the playoffs have two very good running backs.
I love Connor. He is a man amongst men. But we can’t go into next year hoping he’s the Connor of old. We can’t count on Benson. I’m alright with Connor coming back in tandem with another stud.

Fix the oline in free agency. Think of a rb room of Love, Connor and if by some miracle Benson blossoms , now we have something going.

Not identical but very similar to Kyler.

I was shocked at his listed height. We’ll see at the combine.

Same for Ty Simpson.

I can believe Dante is 6'3" but he's very skinny.

Again he has an NFL arm and he's a good athlete but, he doesn't like to run, and he's so bad when he's under pressure. Lost 2 fumbles last night one just slipped out of his hand but the other one was just a guy who doesn't feel pressure in the pocket and didn't have any idea a pass rusher was coming from his right about to knock the ball out. The picksix was him deciding pre snap where he was going.

He has NFL tools but he's nowhere near NFL ready.

The only QB I've seen in this draft I would pick in the first 15 picks is Mendoza. If we want a QB we have to trade for him but I seriously doubt that's possible

You have to give tremendous credit to the Indiana staff for their game plan on both sides of the ball. They had Oregon figured out from start to finish. As for Mendoza, he was never rally challenged in this game. When your run game gains 185, your passing game is going to flourish and when your defense gives you the ball multiple times inside the 20 yard line, it makes scoring a lot easier.

That is beyond freaking cool...
and a reminder....
Too many of these coaches, regardless of millions in NIL money and corporate pressure...its still about teaching a kid to play a game....and watching them build memories as they go.

agree Russ.
But a lot happens between now and April. If a guy like Moore, Chambliss, or Simpson hires a personal coach it can make a huge difference in who they are by April. Maybe steps in that direction start to show at the combine.... growth is part of the process.
Then you have guys like Beck or Allar...that were basically sure fire first round locks last draft...Beck is the most experienced and has the wins against high level competition...Allar has the prototype body and has shown he can make all the NFL throws...at this point it is unlikely either of these guys jump up to the pick they would have been drafted at last year... but if a team thinks they can coach them up and fix their warts?? Then from a purely business standpoint it makes perfect sense to trade back into the first round so they get the fifth year of financial control over the player.

Simpsons dad is the longtime coach at Tenn Martin or someplace like that so I sort of doubt he's a guy who needs a personal coach. These days I assume all of these guys have personal coaches.UCLA just had a 3rd string QB enter the transfer portal I think UCLA is his 3rd school, he's Steve Clarkson's son, Steve is one of the well known QB guru coaches, played at San Jose State, has tutored a bunch of guys.

I think Josh Allen is an extreme outlier a guy who hadn't really had high level coaching until he got to the NFL

Neither Simpson or Moore looked good against Indiana. Both are projected to go in the first round and Moore probably at #2 behind Mendoza at #1. A lot of people on the Board are now very negative on both Moore and Simpson. Maybe Indiana's defense is just that much better.

I still think Allar is salvageable. The mid season injury may have been a blessing for him and then the firing of Franklin hopefully has given Allar time to get his head right. Having watched every PSU game for the last three years, I have seen Allar play at a high level multiple times. One needs to remember his QB coach had no previous experience as a QB coach and in fact was only out of college not that many years ago and had spent some of those as a assistant graduate. There is also a fair chance Allar fails. Allar is one of those feast or famine picks.
