They are now at .500 after 52 games and our lovely Suns team is also at .500 (but after 50 games). Amare's doing what we all thought he would do - 26ppg, 8.5rpg. Meanwhile, their 6'7" rookie G out of Stanford averages 7.2rpg.

I just KNOW Knick fans have to be pulling their hair out right now! They are 6th in the EC right now, but if they were in the WC, they'd be tied with us for the 10th spot.

Sorry, everyone. I just had to get a little hate on....

Like I said from the start, they got off to a good start against bad teams and now are getting killed by good teams for the most part.

Was the Garden fans chanting "Melo" again? That's some cold blooded fans, finally get a team that doesn't completely stink and they totally diss and dismiss half the roster in the middle of a game.

Amar'e still plays most of his minutes at Center. It doesn't matter what city D'Antoni and Amar'e are in. Play him out of position and you'll be mediocre -- or to put it another way, at .500 and sinking.

The Knicks have won 4 of their last 10 games despite being intact since the start of the season.

The Suns have won 6 of their last 10 games and are adjusting to a major trade during the season.

Well you have to give the Knick fans credit, they at least stopped chanting Lebron's name lol.

Amare has been playing his heart out. His rebounding is good. But his knees have to be feeling it.

It's amazing the Knicks are in the sixth spot in the East with a .500 record and the Suns are in the 10th spot in the West with a winning record. I guess looking at the East it is not that amazing after all. It seems to happen most year in the West.

The Suns are only 2 games in the loss column out of 6th place. I am glad we have more games to play than everyone else right now, because we are improving game by game.

Give Gentry credit for continuing the development of Lopez.

I'm becoming more impressed with Gentry every season. He seems to maximize and develop the talents of the players he has under contract.

So you're telling us he does absolutely nothing to improve the players that aren't part of the team?:D

Sure he has improved the players that are not part of the team. Opposing players just love to run with the Suns and try to pad their stats. ;)

Good answer.:) It certainly looked that way earlier this season where evevy opponent had at least one guy that went for career numbers.

At least give the Knicks' fans credit for understanding reality and adjusting their expectations.

Only a matter of time before they drop "Melo" for "Dar-ko"...

"Love" is becoming past tense, now that the Front Office has undone its blunder of bringing in Hedo as Power Forward, keeping Frye at Center. Our two "bigs" out of position.

It is changing right before our eyes. The Suns are playing defense. Our most recent game (vs. the Jazz) illustrated that. Long live the Suns "D".

P.S.: I have a feeling that our 3-point effectiveness is going to return for the next two home games vs. Sacramento and Utah. I just hope that Frye has the common sense to move his outside shot in to 15 ft. and hang around the basket when the 3-pointers aren't falling.

Perhaps Gentry benching him in the 4th quarter will drive that point home. That's drive, Channing. Get it?"

Who exactly should the Knicks be playing at the 5 instead of Amar'e?

The Knicks are very much improved with Amar'e and Felton but still that roster leaves a lot to be desired, they're doing a commendable job considering the lack of talent on that roster.

Amare doesn't really have more talent around him than Nash in Phoenix so they are doing pretty well with what they have.

I've noticed that you are increasingly pleased with the Suns big men. :D

I think Gentry has played a huge role in this by finding the right rotations and getting players to fill their roles. I agree Frye needs to move his game inwards when the 3 point shot is not falling. I've been particularly impressed the way Frye sticks his nose in there on defense and rebounding. Who would have thought. The Suns defense is much improved with Lopez and Gortat rotating at the center position. Now if the Suns would only list Frye on their roster as a PF instead of a center. I'm still not sure what Sarver was thinking when he brought in Turkoglu.

When the Suns re-signed Frye I remember a lot of crying about how they spent too much and they should have spent the money elsewhere. He looks like the bargain of the off season now.

And he's a good character guy to boot. My favorite Frye moment of the season was when he got up in the grill of KG.

Really wondering why Felton, Amare, and D'antoni are all pointing the finger at everybody else.

Timofey Mozgov....he's been decent the past couple of games.
The problem is that D'antoni keeps benching him...instead of developing Mozgov.

Looks like the Knicks had a good win tonight with Amare not playing.

"keeps benching him"....huh? The kid has played 15 minutes or more in the last 6 games and more than 20 in 5 of those 6. Before then he wasn't getting real consistent minutes because he's 1. a rookie from overseas learning the NBA, 2. The Knicks were winning w/ out needing him. D'Antoni wants to start Mozgov, he's said as much, but the kid has to show he can produce effectively and consistency, and it seems he's apparently now shown enough in practice for D'Antoni to give him a shot for a while.

D'Antoni isn't perfect but the vast majority of the knocks he gets on this board are just beyond stupid. That Knicks roster is pretty terrible and to be at .500 or above with them is very good, they'll be playoff bound this year, likely able to attract another big FA in the offseason and well back on there way to being a top 4 team consistently in their conference.

Its cause Knicks had an easier schedule in the beginning.

Ah, The D'Antoni Curse continues. 'Better the Knicks than us. That's why they are on the way down and we are on the way up. With rebounding, defense and strength in the post.

In the words of Marv Albert (formerly the voice of the Knicks, before his back-biting episode in bed), "Yesssssssss".
