Generally, K1 is more physically talented than Jalen. Like by a fair amount.

Better arm talent, better straight line speed, and more elusive.

Is Jalen a better Field General, sure. He's been much more successful as well. But he's also been surrounded by better talent, especially, especially with better offensive lines.

For the record, I think K1 will win an MVP before Hurts does.
Hurts was the runner up in 2022, Kyler has never gotten a vote.

Kylers youtube channel just dropped this -- the offseason trip, etc

pretty interesting. he uses the word "consistency" a bunch. Sure sounds like he plans on running more

A nice addition for content season, but at least my man understands what needs to improve.

Enough good things in that to fire up the Murray fans some.

There’s a lot here I disagree with. Kyler might be quicker and shiftier.
Arm talent I think is negated by timing issues and anticipation.
Don’t wager a lot on Kyler winning an MVP….ever.

I don’t think either will win an MVP; weird metric.

Hurts is 6-3 in the playoffs. Yes, last years team was loaded, but it’s not close who is better RN. No one questions Hurts’ desire to be great.

These guys hate any context.. I’d wager every dollar I had if Kyler was the eagles QB the eagles would be even better than they are today and Hurts would already be on the bench in AZ with this roster. The eagles roster over the past 3 years has been one of the better rosters from top to bottom we have seen the past decade.. easily.

Seriously Guys… just imagine how much more dominant the Eagles would be with Kyler’s voluminous 4th down and TD tush-push conversions! He would make that unstoppable play that defines the team and is the key to their success the ultimate cheat code with Kyl… oh… wait…

Ah yes.

The classic "forget that he had the 9th best QBR in the league last year, if you watched him play he clearly sucks!" performance analysis assessment.

Love when this one is trotted out. Annually.
Let's be honest. Much of qbr can be padded in garbage time.
But,...we didn't have a "huge" amount of garbage time last season.
I'm out on kyler. Been clear on that.
But he isn't terrible. The dude can flat out ball at times.
If he could play at 80% of his potential 80% of the time i wouldn't have any complaints. But we get the 80% 10% of the time.
Kyler is a decent QB...and that's why I am out on him. A Decent QB keeps you at or just over .500 every year and gets you an occasional playoff berth...
And a decent QB keeps you picking 12-20 in the draft...right at the point where the really good rookies stop...not just QB's...but wide receivers, pass rushers, offensive tackles...
So we won't be good enough to visit a super bowl, but we won't be bad enough to get blue chip talent in the draft...
So we stay at or just above .500

NFL Purgatory.
Lose 15 games and at least you get some hope in the off season

Plausible, sure. Tough to say with a lot of certainly, but I would not bet against it DaHilg.

What Hurts does better than K1 (at least through the first several years of their careers) is project confidence and leadership on the field.

I've said this before, but, no matter if Hurts just ran for a 50 yard touchdown, or threw a pick six, he has the same cool, confident demeanor. Like whatever happened was exactly what he wanted to happen, and let's move on to the next play. I'm 1000% confident that inspires his teammates and I'm sick jealous that K1 does carry himself 75% as well as JH. But there is hope for Murray. He is maturing and slowly becoming a better leader.

You're right that Eagles have had great teams around JH. Great defenses, great offensive line. Saquan freaking barkely. It's just sick. Hurts is a little limited physically, but is smart, unselfish, and just generally a winner. He's perfect from an intangibles standpoint, and so maximizes every opportunity he's given.

Anyway, hang in there man. I think we'll be serving up some crow this year.

This is a great take and don’t see how anyone could disagree with it from either side

Not even worth a reputable response.. not sure if a 11 year old child is at the keyboard or just a lonely bored old man. Sad.
