Nope, everything has to be perfect for a QB to succeed, didn't you know? :sarcasm:
How about just mediocre?

Lets stop pretending like the Cards are functional organization talent wise. Just because they play in the desert doesn't mean they have to be the desert of talent and competence.

We had drunks, miscreants, and nincompoops the entire time K1 has been here.

Can K1 play better in clutch spots you better damn well believe he can. He has played with some absolute trash for most of his career here from a talent and FO perspective.

He hasn’t had a legit WR1 since the first 7 games of 2021, but somehow he’s out of excuses lol. The 2024 schedule was rated the most difficult one towards QB’s last year. Can we at least see how much MHJ has developed over last year before we tie all our failures to the play of the QB? And let’s see if the defensive line can perform better than a JV high school team this year before we pin all blame
again on the leader on the offensive side of the ball. And also maybe the defense this year won’t rank almost dead last in creating turnovers?? A lot of questions not related to Murray need to be resolved before MOJG legitimately considers dumping him.

Give it up dude. Lamar, Allen and Mahomes have all had average guys around them for much of their careers.

Josh Allen had Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins last year and won MVP. Mahomes had Kelce and an ever rotating core of Valdez Scantling and Hollywood Brown types. Lamar Jackson won MVP the year before with rookie Zay Flowers, Odell's Ghost, Bateman and only 10 games of Andrews.

It's not about passing yards, or Jameis Winston would have a bunch of MVPs, it's about quality of play. We all have eyes, we can all see his play is not good.

"Iffy"??? :doi:

In three years since leaving the Packers, with lousy teams each year, he has 288 catches for 3723 yards (12.9 average - above his average in GB) and 30 TDs.
Anything to put down K1 even if its absolutely untrue.

Please give me a D Adams here in the desert post packers.

I just pray to swee baby Jesus that MHJ is the real deal. God knows the other WRs on this roster aren't.

Absolute delusional post as usual.

We had a good O line and a top 5 DVOA rushing offense last year. The defense, despite obvious flaws, finished middle of the pack in DVOA.

Kyler was 19th in DVOA in the 4th quarter/overtime and 30th in DVOA in 3rd and long.

He's just not good in the situations that decide games. Give him a two score lead and a solid defense and he can look great. Ask him to step up to get you over the line and he constantly lets us down.

if the assertion is that Kyler isnt a top 5 QB, we can pretty much all agree to that.

my view is that its much easier to find a top 15-ish WR to pair with a 8-17 ranked QB than it is to find a top 5 QB who can make an offense work with B level wide outs.

Two things can be true at the same time. The Cardinals can be one of the worst franchises in NFL history, AND Kyler can be a mediocre NFL QB. All evidence points to that conclusion.

We can just as easily say those players have had really disappointing QB play to deal with, which is inarguable.

Now who is bringing emotions and whatnot to the argument? He has proven he can't, so he can't, until he proves that he can. Simple logic.

30 tds in 4 years but he was averaging about 10 per with green Bay l. I stand by my statement he's iffy on being better.
Adams played for the Packers from 2014-2021. 73 TDs in 8 years (9.125 / year). 12.1 yards per catch, 70 yards per game, 51.25 first downs per season.

He's since played THREE years with the Raiders and Jets, had to switch teams mid-year, and still had 30 TDs in 3 years (10 / year). 12.9 yards per catch, 77.6 yards per game, 57.7 first downs per season.

Still standing by your statement? Adams is not only an unequivocal exception to being "crap" since he left Green Bay, he's arguably been better.

We literally drafted a widely touted generational WR at 4 and Kyler could barely find him unless it was 3rd down and he had to lob one in his general direction.

Mediocre QBs don't win rookie of the year, elected to the probowl multiple times, and be talked about as an MVP.

Don't bother, they don't watch football of other players and its starting to become obvious.

Yes, the crap that was put on the field should be completely tied to K1.

You guys are in denial of who this team has been during that time.

if you won't answer we'll just go with the photographic evidence - only one winning season

Now wait a minute BGT. Wins and losses are only marginally correlated to QB play.

Joe Burrow (who loves North Korea and is a big proponent of Daylight Savings Time) had an absolutely incredible year last year, but his team only won nine games, and did not make the playoffs.

The only thing that is going to stick to Murray is he sucks in the clutch (so far). That's undeniable.

But otherwise he plays pretty well on a week in, week out basis, even with **** for a WR room for the last three years. And yes that matters.

You don't count lol

Here you go, trying to pretend Kyler is this generational talent again. You can't call him d.e.e.p throat because he chokes on the big one. And the little one. And the c.h.o.a.d.

Wait, we're not allowed to type c.h.o.a.d? WTF?
