It will be interesting to see how he does in his "sophomore" season. There are so many point/counterpoints to the situation. Yes, there is more tape on him and teams will adjust to the playclock/communication tactic they were employing last year. But he's still really young and IMO, "McVay"(not McShay ) did an admirable job of not only salvaging Goff from the horrors of his rookie season and that terrible situation but making him actually productive.

So, while a sophomore slump may be possible, he's getting a 2nd year in the same system that isn't a new system for the whole team with a new HC. I think the pro's outweigh the cons overall and he should have another good year.
