Triple-A: Norfolk Tides 4, Gwinnett Stripers 3
The Tides scored three runs in the 8th to pull ahead of the Stripers and held on for the win in the 9th inning.
Norfolk came in the bottom of the 8th down 3-1, with their only run coming off a Luis Vázquez solo homer in the 6th. Ryan Noda started the 8th inning rally with a leadoff single, but after a Payton Eeles strikeout and Vázquez groundout, it looked like the rally would die before it even started. Enrique Bradfield Jr. then walked to keep the rally alive, allowing Reed Trimble to unload on a 1-1 fastball for the three-run homer that put Norfolk on top. Rece Hinds and Heston Kjerstad walked to extend the rally, before Creed Willems struck out to finally end the frame.
In the top of the 9th, Brewer Hicklen led off with a walk to put the tying run on base. Tides’ reliever Andrew Magno then got Rowdy Tellez to pop out and Carlos Santana to strike out to put Gwinnett down to their last out. Norfolk then turned the game over to José Espada. The former major leaguer got ahead Kyle Farmer 0-2, and then got ABS to overturn a ball call for the final strike of the game.

Double-A: Reading Fightin Phils 9, Chesapeake Baysox 5
Caden Hunter and the Baysox got off to a fast start, but were sunk by the Phils after a six-run 3rd inning turned the tide in Reading’s favor.
Wehiwa Aloy delivered an early lead to Chesapeake with a 1st inning homer. After Brandon Butterworth reached on a one-out walk and Victor Figueroa walked, Aloy blasted his third Double-A homer over the left-center fence to put the Baysox up 3-0. The 2025 first-round pick now has 18 homers on the year between Frederick and Chesapeake and is sporting a .817 OPS with the Baysox since being promoted two weeks ago. The Baysox would increase their advantage in the 2nd when Tavian Josenberger tripled with one out and scored on a
Hunter, the Orioles’ No. 15 prospect, started the game by striking out six of the first seven batters he faced. However, the 22-year-old lefty completely lost his command in the 3rd inning as he gave up a leadoff single before issuing three straight walks to force in a run. Hunter then gave up an RBI single and a grand slam to see a 4-1 Chesapeake advantage turn into a 6-4 Reading lead.
The Phils would get an unearned run in the 4th to grow their lead to three. Aron Estrada then launched a solo homer to lead off the 5th to make things 7-5 and cut the deficit back to two. The idea of a comeback was short-lived, however, as Reading hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 5th to put the game out of reach.

High-A: Frederick Keys 3, Bowling Green Hot Rods 1
Boston Bateman and Christian Rodriguez delivered strong pitching performances and the Keys offense came up with enough clutch hits to seal a win vs. the Hot Rods.
Bateman opened the game for the Keys, picking up two quick strikeouts in a perfect 1st inning. He’d give up a leadoff single in the 2nd and a pair of two-out walks, but worked around the traffic to post another scoreless frame. The towering lefty gave up another leadoff single in the 3rd, but again stranded the runner to finish his outing with a line of 3 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 2 BB and 3 K.
Rodriguez took over in the 5th with the Keys up 2-0, and proceeded to set down the first 11 batters he faced. He finally gave up his first hit with two outs in the 8th, before ending the inning on a strikeout. Rodriguez would allow the Hot Rods’ only run in the ninth after allowing a leadoff double followed by an RBI single.
Offensively, the Keys staked themselves to an early lead and never looked back. In their first AB of the game, DH DJ Layton blasted a solo shot to center to give Frederick a quick 1-0 lead. Layton led the Keys with three hits Tuesday in his first game since being promoted from Delmarva.
That advantage would remain unchanged until a rally in the 4th. With one out, Vance Honeycutt ripped a double down the left field line and later scored on a Leandro Arias double. Arias would then provide the Keys with an insurance run in the 6th. After Braylin Tavera led off the inning with a double to left, Arias singled to right to grow the Frederick advantage to 3-0.

Low-A: Delmarva Shorebirds 3, Salem RidgeYaks 2
2026 first-round pick Eric Booth Jr. made his professional debut and the Shorebirds scored their first walk-off win of the season Tuesday against the RidgeYaks.
Salem got out to an early lead with a run in the 2nd, but Booth helped put the Shorebirds back on top in the 3rd. Juan Ortega started the rally with a leadoff single before a Ty Head bunt single moved him to second. That set the table for Booth, who singled through the right side for his first professional hit, tying the game at 1-1. Jaiden Lo Re then gave Delmarva the lead on a ground out to third that scored Head.
That 2-1 lead would hold up until the 6th, where the RidgeYaks used some small ball to tie the game. Salem started the inning with two walks in their first three batters to put the tying run in scoring position. Louis Andujar then singled to right to tie the game at two.
Neither team could break the deadlock in the 7th or 8th, sending the game to the bottom of the 9th with a chance for a walk-off winner. Elvin Garcia led off the final frame with a walk, was replaced by pinch runner Jemone Nuel, who then stole second. After a Joshua Liranzo walk, Miguel Rodríguez got to play hero, as the catcher singled up the middle for Delmarva’s first walk-off of 2026.
