The Ducks aren't done at Jane Sanders Stadium just yet.
Oregon earned the No. 14 overall seed and will host the NCAA softball tournament-opening Eugene Regional May 15-17 it was announced May 10 during a live bracket reveal show on ESPN2.
Oregon (40-12) will open the tournament against Idaho State (37-18) at 7 p.m. Friday. The Ducks' game will follow the a 4:30 p.m. matchup between Mississippi State (38-18) and St. Mary's (40-14).
The two winners will play each other Saturday, as will the two losers on day two of the double-elimination tournament.
The Ducks were one seven teams from the Big Ten Conference selected for the tournament, including Nebraska and UCLA, who were the No. 4 and No. 8 overall seed, respectively, putting them in line to host a super regional May 21-24 if they win their regionals.
Indiana, Washington, Michigan and Wisconsin also were selected.
Oregon hasn't played since May 7 when it was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament by the Badgers. Still, the Ducks finished tied for second overall in the conference standings with the Bruins and behind the Cornhuskers.
