On Campus is a weekly series that keeps up with area athletes playing collegiately.
Football
• Wyatt Barzak (Cochranton 2022) participated in Grove City’s 22-9 victory against Geneva on Saturday.
Volleyball
• Sadie Thomas (Maplewood 2023) recorded eight kills, three digs and one block for Mount Union in a loss against Otterbein on Friday.
• Kaylee Mattera (Conneaut 2023) tallied two kills and one block in Seton Hill’s loss to Slippery Rock on Friday.
• Averie Braymer (Saegertown 2022) recorded nine kills, seven digs and one block for Bethany across two matches last week.
• Mia Soerensen (Meadville 2022) helped Vanderbilt earn its first SEC victory in a sweep over Arkansas, in which she had the game-winning block. Soerensen tallied 14 kills, six blocks and three digs in two matches last week.
• Lyndzee Amory (Saegertown 2024) played in two matches for Thiel last week. The sophomore tallied 11 kills, three digs and five blocks.
• Emma Parks (Meadville 2025) recorded nine kills and two digs for Marquette in matches against DePaul on Sunday and Creighton on Thursday.
• Elliott Schleicher (Meadville 2025) helped Susquehanna defeat King’s College on Saturday with 46 assists, three kills and four digs. In a loss to Widener on Friday, Schleicher added 26 assists and three kills.
Soccer
• Danica Escalante (Cambridge Springs 2024) started at midfield for Thiel in Saturday’s loss to Grove City and Oct. 1’s loss to Chatham.
• Nola Zook (Cambridge Springs 2024) started for Toccoa Falls at defender and recorded a shot in a game on Oct. 1.
• Mallory Zook (Cambridge Springs 2024) played for Toccoa Falls against Agnes Scott.
Golf
• Brooke Hart (Meadville 2025) tied for 43rd competing as an individual for Thiel at the John Carroll Fall Invitational on Sunday. Hart carded a 195 (97-98).
