On Campus: Keeping up with local athletes playing collegiately

On Campus is a weekly series that keeps up with area athletes playing collegiately.

Wrestling

• Joey King (Maplewood 2021) wrestled in two matches for Thiel last week. King went 2-0 at 285.

• Carter Beck (Saegertown 2025) won at 133 pounds for Gannon in a dual against Penn State Behrend last week. Beck pinned his opponent in 2:21.

Women’s Basketball

• Lyndzee Amory (Saegertown 2024) appeared in both games for Thiel last week. Amory had five rebounds, five points, three steals and a block in a loss against Saint Vincent.

• Hannah Brady (Conneaut 2024) secured two rebounds for Thiel last week.

• Payton Leandro (Cambridge Springs 2025) picked up a rebound for Behrend in a big win over Hilbert on Feb. 4.

Men’s Basketball

• Lucas Luteran (Meadville 2025) added a rebound for Washington & Jefferson in a win over Westminster last week.

• Jack Burchard (Meadville 2025) scored a 3-point basket and an assist for Gannon last week in a win over California (Pa.).

Men’s Volleyball

• Jackson Decker (Meadville 2023) found three digs and three block assists last week for Saint Francis.

• Cameron Schleicher (Meadville 2022) appeared in all five sets of a loss to Thiel for Behrend last week. He tallied 12 kills, five digs, two aces, one assist, one solo block and one block assist.

• Sam Draa (Saegertown 2024) helped Thiel to three wins last week, including a victory over No. 17 Buffalo State. Draa scored six kills, four aces and six digs.

Women’s Track and Field

• Marlaya McCoy (Meadville 2025) ran in the women’s 60-meter dash last week for Point Park. McCoy finished 37th with a time of 8.29 seconds.
