Minnesota Lynx point guard Olivia Miles was injured against the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday, June 15, at the Target Center.

Miles rolled her left ankle in the second half. She limped off the floor, refusing help from two staff members, and went back to the locker room.

While Miles did not return, the Lynx went on to win 96-87 on Wednesday. She had 18 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals before the injury.

The Rookie of the Year candidate sat out two games last week with a right calf injury. Miles has started 22 games for the league-leading Lynx, averaging 19.4 points, 5.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds in 30.6 minutes.

She was the No. 2 overall pick in the WNBA draft out of TCU.Teammate Napheesa Collier continues to be out, but is expected to return soon from the ankle injury sustained in the postseason last fall.
