The 2025-26 campaign was a season that Ole Miss head coach Chris Beard and the program would like to forget. The Rebels finished second to last in the SEC, and are looking in all corners of the globe to improve their roster ahead of next season.
To that end, Ole Miss has signed guard Ben Henshall out of the National Basketball League in Australia. The 22-year-old has spent the last three seasons playing professionally for the Perth Wildcats.
Henshall averaged 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists with Perth last season.
“Ben’s development and growth as a person and player over the past three years is something the club can be proud of,” said Wildcats head coach John Rillie on the NBL's official site.
Looking ahead, Ole Miss is hoping to have Henshall available for two seasons, but will cross the eligibility bridge after year one once they get there after this season.
