The Tampa Bay Rays selected Ole Miss baseball signee Taj Marchand in the 2026 MLB Draft on July 11.

Marchand was selected No. 33 overall in Competitive Balance Round A. He is the first Ole Miss signee selected in the draft. He has the option to sign with the Rays or play for Ole Miss in 2027.

The slot value of Marchand's pick is $2.97 million.
