STILLWATER — Regardless of the success of a program, offseason roster changes are inevitable.

For David Taylor and the Oklahoma State wrestling team, the offseason seems likely to be quiet with regard to the starting lineup, but the overall roster is set to see notable changes, both in and out.

The Cowboys return nine starters from the team that finished second at the NCAA Championships and became the first team in college wrestling history with three true freshmen winning national titles.

Here’s a look at the movement of the OSU wrestling roster in the transfer portal:

Who is leaving Oklahoma State wrestling?

Jersey Robb (OU)

A Bixby High School product, Robb reportedly left the team in February and has committed to OU. A 184-pounder who also filled in at 197 during his two years at OSU, Robb compiled a 21-5 record.

Brayden Thompson

Thompson, who is originally from Frankfort, Illinois, was a starter at 174 pounds as a true freshman in 2023-24, going 12-11. He redshirted the following year, posting a 9-0 record. He did not enter the starting lineup this past season and reportedly left the team in February.

Who is transferring to Oklahoma State wrestling?

Bennett Berge (South Dakota State)

Berge made his third NCAA Championships appearance in 2026, and his first at 197 pounds in his first season wrestling at the weight. In 2025, he qualified at 184, a year after becoming an All-American at the weight. With sophomore-to-be Cody Merrill at 197, a move back to 184 seems likely. That would put Berge in a battle with returning starter Zack Ryder, who battled through a shoulder injury to become an All-American in March.
