A year after losing in a playoff in Cabo, Preston Stout returned with a vengeance.

The junior at Oklahoma State, ranked third in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, ran away with medalist honors at the 2026 Cabo Collegiate, finishing at 15 under for the week, good enough for a seven-shot win at Twin Dolphin Club. With the victory, Stout earns an exemption into the PGA Tour's World Wide Technology Championship this fall.

It's the fourth collegiate victory for Stout, who will look to win his third consecutive Big 12 Championship next month.

In the team race, Oklahoma State rallied from three shots behind to top Arkansas by a stroke to win the Cabo Collegiate for the fourth time and first since 2019. Junior Gaven Lane shot 66 in the final round, highlighted by an ace on the par-3 14th, to help the Cowboys rally for their second win of the season, finishing at 22 under.

For Arkansas, John Daly II bogeyed his last two holes, part of the reason Oklahoma State was able to jump the tournament hosts to win the title. Now, he's in Puerto Rico, set to make his PGA Tour debut.

Rice came in third at 10 under with Ole Miss and Tennessee tying for fourth. In the individual race, California's Ziqin Zhou and Arizona's William Wilstrand were the closest pursuers to Stout, finishing at 8 under.
