The Oklahoma Sooners will be represented in the Super Bowl once again. Former running back Rhamondre Stevenson and the New England Patriots advance to the championship game of the NFL after beating the Denver Broncos 10-7 on a snowy field on Sunday.

Stevenson led the Patriots' offense with 25 carries for 71 yards as the two sides played a defensive battle.

It's the 11th season in a row in which at least one former Sooner has made it to the Super Bowl. In recent years it was Creed Humphrey, Lane Johnson, and Jalen Hurts starring for the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Now it's Rhamondre Stevenson's opportunity to cement his name in NFL lore with the New England Patriots.

Stevenson is in his fifth year in the NFL. He shared carries with rookie TreVeyon Henderson, but the former Sooner has seen his workload increase during the NFL Playoffs. In New England's three games, Stevenson has seen 10, 16, and 25 carries to lead the Patriots' rushing attack.

In the Super Bowl, Stevenson and the Patriots will face a Seattle Seahawks team that ranks No. 3 in the NFL in rushing defense and No. 1 in the NFL in yards per carry allowed.
