The two-headed rushing attack of Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson has helped power the New England Patriots into Super Bowl LX on Sunday.
Stevenson, who was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1998, played for Centennial High School in Las Vegas. Stevenson was not rated as a recruit coming out of high school, forcing him to take a longer path to the top levels of football.
As an unheralded recruit, Stevenson went to Cerritos College in California for two years, and then transferred to Oklahoma. Stevenson made an instant impact for the Sooners, with six rushing touchdowns in his first year with the team - but was suspended at the end of the year for a drug policy violation.
The following year, Stevenson earned Cotton Bowl MVP honors in a blowout win over Florida.
Stevenson was selected in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Patriots.
