The Oklahoma Sooners made three additions in the transfer portal on Thursday. In addition to catcher Abbie Gregus and outfielder Adi Hansen, the Sooners brought in outfielder Macie Harter from Middle Tennessee State.
Harter was a second-team All-Conference USA selection after hitting .346 with 15 doubles, four triples, seven home runs, and 23 RBIs. She also recorded 19 stolen bases and had an on-base plus slugging percentage of 1.163 on the season. She recorded 12 multi-hit games in 2026
A two-year starter at Middle Tennessee State, Harter raised her batting average by over 60 points and recorded 11 more extra-base hits this year than in 2025.
Harter comes to Oklahoma looking to compete for a role in the Sooners' outfield. The Sooners bring back Ella Parker, Kai Minor, and Chaney Helton and add the nation's No. 1 prospect to the team in Peyton Westra. Harter adds competition and experience to an outfield that lost Abby Dayton to graduation and Kasidi Pickering to Texas Tech.
