The Oklahoma Sooners have one of the best recruiting classes in college football for the 2027 cycle. They currently have 13 players pledged, including some of the best at their position. In the latest update of the Rivals 300 recruiting rankings, Oklahoma has seven committed players among the top 300 players in the class, including two inside the top 20 and three inside the top 100.
There's a chance Oklahoma could finish with a top-five class, or even the No. 1 class in the cycle. They're in the mix for a number of talented players from across the country. According to the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine, Oklahoma is either first or second for 24 players ranked in the Rivals 300 released Monday.
Seven of those players are committed to Oklahoma.
Of the 17 players in the Rivals 300 that haven't committed yet, Oklahoma is the leader in 12 of the recruitments, according to the Rivals recruiting prediction machine. If they're able to land all of the players they're favored to earn a commitment from, this could turn out to be an incredible recruiting class for the Sooners.
Here's a look at the players committed to Oklahoma and the ones they're in a top two position for, according to Rivals.

The Oklahoma Sooners proved they have what it takes to compete at the highest level. Not long after their win over Michigan, the Sooners flipped Cooper Hackett from Texas Tech. Hackett is the lone five-star in the current update, but along with Kaeden Penny and Gabriel Osborne, the Sooners have three players in the top 32.

Kaeden Penny is one of the top offensive tackles in the country. It was a huge commitment for Oklahoma to land the Edmond Santa Fe prospect. He held offers from a number of SEC and Big Ten programs. But the Sooners kept the No. 2 player in the state home.
Gabriel Osborne is one of the most impressive players in the class, ranking as the No. 3 player in the state of Oklahoma and the No. 5 cornerback in the cycle. The Sooners have received predictions in his recruitment, and it appears they're the overwhelming favorite at this point.
The Oklahoma Sooners are the heavy favorite for Cooper Witten, who was at one time considered the No. 1 linebacker in the class and a five-star prospect. Even before his dad, Jason Witten, became the tight ends coach at Oklahoma, the Sooners were in a great position to land Cooper. In Rivals latest update, he ranks as the No. 3 linebacker in the class and the No. 7 player in the state of Texas.
The Sooners have already landed one edge prospect out of the state of Utah in Krew Jones and are hoping to earn another pledge in their pursuit of Bode Sparrow. Sparrow is the No. 2 athlete in the cycle, and the Sooners are planning to play him on the edge like Jones. According to the Rivals prediction machine, OU is in a good position for Sparrow.
According to Rivals, the Sooners are in a tight battle with Alabama for four-star edge prospect Prince Goldsby. He's the No. 1 player in the state of Missouri and ranks as the No. 10 edge prospect in the nation.
Making a huge jump in Rivals' latest update is previously unranked running back Keldrid Ben. Since joining Oklahoma's 2027 recruiting class, he's seen his stock skyrocket, jumping into the top 100. Since committing to the Sooners on Dec. 1, Ben has earned offers from Oregon, Texas, and Florida State.
Juju Johnson is one of a number of cornerbacks the Oklahoma Sooners are pursuing in the 2027 recruiting class, and according to the Rivals prediction machine, they are in the best position to land the top 100 prospect. Out of Long Beach Poly, Johnson is the No. 13 cornerback in the class and the No. 7 player in the state of California.
Linebacker Case Alexander is one of the top players in the state of Oklahoma but he could be heading to the northeast. According to the Rivals prediction machine, Penn State is in the best position to add the Washington, Oklahoma product. Alexander ranks as the No. 11 linebacker in the class and the No. 4 prospect in the state of Oklahoma.
The Sooners landed one of the most dynamic wide receivers in the 2027 recruiting class when they earned a commitment from Demare Dezeurn. He's the No. 10 player in the state of California and the No. 24 wide receiver in the cycle. He chose the Sooners over offers from USC, Texas, Utah, Michigan, Miami, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, and Washington.
Semaj Stanford is the No. 6 player in the state of Oklahoma and the No. 12 safety in the 2027 recruiting class. Oklahoma's in a strong position in this recruitment, according to Rivals. Nebraska, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oregon are other teams to watch for the Broken Arrow star, according to Rivals.
It's always a challenge to pull top talent out of Louisiana, and that is proving to be the case once again with Jayden Anding. Anding looks like he's heading to LSU to join Lane Kiffin and the Tigers. Anding is the No. 17 safety in the class and the No. 9 player in the state.
Oklahoma has been busy on the west coast this cycle and appears to be in a strong position in the recruitment for four-star cornerback Darius Jackson, out of California. According to the Rivals recruiting prediction machine, Oklahoma's doing battle with UCLA.
The Oklahoma Sooners appear to be trailing for defensive line target George Toia but have made a strong impression. The Sooners will have some work to do to beat out Texas Tech, who has proven to be a formidable recruiting school in recent years.
Zane Rowe was once an early commitment to the Oklahoma Sooners before decommitting and reopening his recruitment. But things have circled back for the Sooners and Rowe. Oklahoma appears to be in a strong spot for the Denton Guyer defensive line prospect.
The Oklahoma Sooners earned a big-time commitment when they added Taven Epps to the 2027 recruiting class. He was originally committed to Texas before choosing OU back in the fall. Epps is the No. 19 linebacker in the class and the No. 17 player in the state of California.
Jaylen Scott has been predicted to the Oklahoma Sooners by Sam Spiegelman and Chad Simmons of Rivals. Oklahoma is contending with Auburn, Florida, and Georgia. Scott ranks as the No. 27 safety in the class.
The Oklahoma Sooners have been the favorite for Jamison Roberts for some time, earning predictions from a number of outlets. But the Sooners will have to contend with a number of teams trying to get into the race. Roberts will visit Florida on March 3 and Georgia recently offered the rising prospect out of Alabama.
Montre Jackson looks like he's heading to Texas, but the Sooners are among a number of elite teams that are trying to land the commitment of the Garland, Texas product.
According to the Rivals prediction machine, the Sooners are in the lead for the four-star cornerback prospect out of DeSoto, Texas. Dhillon McGee is the No. 36 cornerback in the class and the No. 34 player in the state of Texas. OU is contending with SMU, Penn State, Texas Tech, and Nebraska.
Colton McKibben, out of New Mexico, appears to be trending toward Arizona State, according to Rivals. He's the No. 1 player in the state and ranks as the No. 23 linebacker in the class.
Elija Harmon was a big-time addition out of California to the 2027 recruiting class. He has the size and athleticism to be a force on the inside for the Sooners. He could be a difference maker early in his career after choosing Oklahoma over Oregon and USC.
Mikhail McCreary is the No. 37 cornerback in the class, according to Rivals, and also ranks as a top 200 prospect over at 247Sports. Out of San Antonio, McCreary chose Oklahoma over Texas Tech, SMU, Arkansas, and Texas A&M.
The Oklahoma Sooners appear to be in the lead, according to the Rivals prediction machine. The prediction machine currently has the Sooners ahead of elite recruiting schools like Texas A&M, Texas, Ohio State, and USC. The Sooners have had success recruiting the Lewisville Farmers, the former school of offensive linemen Michael Fasusi and Sean Hutton as well as former Sooners safety Jaydan Hardy.
