Oklahoma City Thunder fans are not likely to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Kevin Durant taking his talents from OKC to the Bay Area this July 4th.
Instead, OKC fans will be treated to their first look at #12 overall pick Aday Mara, #16 overall pick Bennett Stirtz and #41 overall pick Otega Oweh playing basketball in Thunder jerseys and shorts.
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Thursday afternoon their roster for the 2026 Salt Lake City Summer League in Utah and the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Other notable players on the Thunder roster include Brooks Barnhizer, Payton Sandfort, Buddy Boeheim, Josh Dix and Bryce Thompson. Barnhizer was OKC's 2nd Round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and currently one of the Thunder's two-way players. Sandfort was on a two-way contract to end the 2026 season but was actually waived before the release of the Summer League roster. The former Iowa standout will still play in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Boeheim was on an OKC two-way contract from February 6 to March 2 of 2026. Dix was recently signed to one of the Thunder's two-way contracts. And Thompson has community ties due to being born in Tulsa, playing high school hoops at Booker T. Washington and playing college ball at Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma City Blue Head Coach Daniel Dixon will serve as the Thunder’s Summer League head coach in Utah and Thunder assistant coach Connor Johnson will serve as the team’s head coach in Las Vegas.
