OK - here's a spin..

It seems like in the past, we all liked the Cards drafts for the most part...but now...many are disappointed.

So, there's only one way to go & that's up. MAybe there is a silver lining here.

The people in PA wanted to lynch Rooney for the Steelers taking Jack Lambert in the 2nd round in 1974 instead of Matt Blair. They were ticked off at the whole draft, the took a good WR, a small LB, a center, and a no-name WR & now, looking back, it may be the best draft ever..Lynn Swann, Lambert, Webster & Stallworth...

..so I'm not going to tar and feather the Cards' org just yet...

...By the way, I need another beer....and I've got my fingers crossed!

Problem here is I do not even think we got the guys we wanted in the 17 and 18 slot. What ever our plan was I am glad Gerneral Tommy Franks did not use it.
