Ohio State football season-ticket sales rose slightly this year.
The school sold 57,304 season tickets to the general public, faculty and staff for 2026, according to figures provided to The Dispatch in response to a public records request.
The total was up from 56,537 last year and marked the highest since at least 2009, surpassing the recent high of 56,998 non-student season tickets sold in 2024.

Sales have continued to climb in the years following the COVID-19 pandemic as Ohio State has sold more than 56,000 season-tickets in four out of the past five years.
While this year’s home schedule lacks a high-profile nonconference game, the Buckeyes host both Oregon and archrival Michigan in November as part of their Big Ten slate.
The Ducks are among the preseason national title favorites following the return of quarterback Dante Moore and a deep defensive line.
Ohio State and Oregon met twice in 2024 between a game in Eugene during the regular season and the College Football Playoff quarterfinals at the Rose Bowl, but this will be their first matchup in Columbus since the Ducks joined the conference.
The Wolverines’ visit to Ohio Stadium is their first since the shocking upset of the Buckeyes in 2024.
Ohio State's other home games are against Ball State on Sept. 5, Kent State on Sept. 19, Illinois on Sept. 26, Maryland on Oct. 10 and Northwestern on Nov. 14.
