The first safety prospect is in for Deon Broomfield, with Penn State going to North Jersey to get Jonathan Galette. I’ll tell ya what, he’s an interesting prospect. He doesn’t have elite size at 5-foot-11 (which, to be honest, might be a little generous) and 170 pounds, but his highlights are fun to watch because he’s an all-around really good football player. Used in a ton of ways for St. Joe’s, lining up in the slot, as a traditional safety, and even some linebacker. Really sticks out when blitzing, but overall just a physical kid who clearly has a high football IQ given how much different stuff he does. Lazy Penn State comp, but King Mack-esque, though Mack was a better athlete.
