Dana White believes he's found the next Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey for UFC
UFC's top prospect Cynthia Calvillo is on an absolute roll
Cynthia Calvillo didn’t get the same treatment a lot of first-time UFC fighters get for their debut in the Octagon. No, she wasn’t relegated to an FS1 or Fight Pass card, Calvillo made her debut on PPV on the main card of UFC 209. While she was scheduled to be on earlier in the card, when Khabib Nurmagomedov was unable to fight in the co-main event, UFC president Dana White decided to bump the unknown talent to the main card. She did not disappoint either, scoring a submission victory over Amanda Cooper in just 100 seconds.

After another win on Saturday at UFC 210 over Pearl Gonzalez, White realizes he has a special talent on his hands.

UFC 2017 fight schedule: Johnson-Reis, Miocic-dos Santos, Aldo-Holloway lead PPVs
After the success of UFC 205, 206 and 207, the company has opened 2017 on a bit of a down note. Their first three pay-per-view events haven’t exactly lived up to the hype, but UFC’s next two events could make up for that rather quickly. Heavyweight belt holder Stipe Miocic gets his shot at revenge against Junior dos Santos and Max Holloway tries to win the outright featherweight title against Jose Aldo.

Plus, Demetrious Johnson is set to defend his belt for a 10th time.

Check out the full breakdown of UFC’s upcoming fights below.

Anthony Johnson says goodbye to ‘Rumble’ following his retirement
It’s tough to utter the name Anthony Johnson without immediately attaching the nickname “Rumble” but that’s exactly what will happen now that arguably the most devastating knockout striker in the UFC has decided to call it a career.

Johnson shocked the world on Saturday night at UFC 210 when he announced his retirement from fighting following a second round submission loss to light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.

Anthony Johnson to file formal complaint about Daniel Cormier weigh-in controversy
UFC light heavyweight Anthony Johnson is exploring legal options to address the controversy of last week's UFC 210 weigh-in, according to representatives.

The controversy arose Friday when Johnson's opponent, defending UFC champion Daniel Cormier, initially missed weight by 1.2 pounds in Buffalo.

Cormier, 38, stepped away from the weigh-in area, returned approximately 2½ minutes later and made the 205-pound championship weight.

Many observers noticed Cormier's hands were on top of an outstretched towel during his second attempt, which could offset weight. Cormier has denied the towel had any effect.

Georges St-Pierre responds to Michael Bisping’s ultimatum regarding their fight
Georges St-Pierre doesn’t seem all that concerned about Michael Bisping’s ultimatum.

Just recently, Bisping expressed his anger over the continued delays in putting together the fight with St-Pierre, which was first rumored for UFC 213 in July but now appears won’t happen until sometime in the fall.

Bisping stated that if St-Pierre wasn’t ready to fight in the summer that he would move onto No. 1 ranked contender Yoel Romero rather than sitting around and waiting for the former welterweight champion to get ready.
