The Jags just released Gabe Davis if anyone still wants to sign a deep ball guy.
Interesting name. They released him so Travis Hunter can get on the field. I assume he is a post June 1st cut as that $5.7m and $4.2m in dead money this year and next vs $20m in dead money this year pre June 1st designation. His current dead was 3 years $39m

He is a decent 3, but missed 7 games last year.

We’ve got oodles of money to burn and a still very weak WR room. If that knee is healthy, he’s def worth a one year flyer of a contract.

Absolutely he should be a target. It’s only one year since he was a pretty highly sought after free agent for a reason.

I am also wondering if they might look at Anthony Schwartz for the speedy deep threat-role. Not that he has been particularly impressive so far, but he was with Petzing in Cleveland, so there is some familiarity.
