They have to come up with something at the half that can make them pay for blitzing the way they are. We haven't had a good screen pass since Scoby's early in the year.

Why is Josh taking so much time? He wasted 30 seconds on that last drive standing around looking like he was lost. He absolutely looks like he has no idea of what if going on.

How many passes have even been thrown today? It seems like every time McCown drops to pass he has someone in his face! This is ridiculous...McCown of course has to take some of the blame but you can't say the OLine has no fault in this mess.

OMG the excuses for this idiot is never ending!!!!!!

Ever think that with the wind to our darn backs even Green doesnt have the confidence to have this guy pass?

MY GOD! If you think a QB needs the greatest offensive line ever to win then youll wait a long time. Every oline lets some plays get out of hand. Good QB's know what to do when it happens.

McClown has 0 awareness, 0 intelligence to make things happen, 0 audibles to help out the oline on the formations.

Give anyone a shot at QB I dont care if its King, Navarre, Smith, Big, Shelton. I really dont care. Id rather go down swinging with a guy who has a chance to make things happen.

BTW where is the McNabb speed he is supposed to have? I bet King is faster. Hell Navarre looks just as fast.

In the second half we have to try some bootlegs and screens. I'm not sure if we could execute them, but if we could they could be big plays. Their D-line is playing like they are in the 100 yd dash at a track meet instead of a football game. If we can't block them, we have to slow them down by playcalling.

This offensive line is so Jekyll and Hyde right now it's incredible. We're doing a pretty decent job in the run game. When we get stuffed, it's because they know it's coming.

In the pass game, it started bad, and it got worse quickly, to the point of disaster. Wow.

Don't know if I'd want to be in that locker room right now. 10 bucks says Emmitt is yelling louder than Green.

Amazingly we are still in this game thatnx to the defense.

Anyone have Tony Sacca'a number. He might be able to pull this thing out.

McCown has one of the greatest trio of recievers. All he has to do is throw it in the general area and chances are Q or spiderman get it.

As to McCown, at this point, I haven't expected any miracles. A few hot reads, some dumpoffs, a bunch of good throwaways, and a smart sack or two. Not spinning into defenders he already knows are there, running around as time ticks away with no idea what he's doing, waiting in a collapsing pocket and fumbling the ball, dropping back on a quick out and tryin to run instead of launching it into the stands over the receiver's head.

No matter he's not getting time, he's making it even worse by playing like crap.

 I have to agree 100% McClown is a poor version of Kent Graham.

Put Navarre in. He played in cold many times.

My gut tells me that the second half will determine if Josh is our QB of the future. My gut does not tell me if it is good or bad..

This game is about special teams and turnovers. We are not winning either one of these categories.

What does the lines' inability to pick up the blitz have to do with the weather? Navarre is slower than Josh is - he'd get killed.

Show me one place where I made an excuse for him but if you don't think this OLine isn't terrible you don't know football. McCown by no means is looking like a good QB but by the same token with as bad as our OLine is playing I doubt we'd have a much better result no matter who we put back there.

The 2 biggest culprits in this game are the OLine and the stupid penalties...McCown isn't helping the situation any but he isn't the biggest problem on the field today.

Great another week of bickering and name calling for a whole week.

Kinda tells you the QB isn't silencing the critics, huh? I see another week of excuse making. Of course, there's no reason why he should be playing lights-out behind this pathetic pass protection, but we're lucky his boneheaded plays haven't coughed up a turnover yet.

Navarre isn't the answer; let's see what josh can do--not just bthrough the air, but managing of a cluster-F*** game.

If he can't do it today, give it to king for the rest of the season, and figure out what we're going to do next year. QB will be added to the already fairly long priority list.
